Who am I?

Since 2007 I have been working as an independent psychotherapist, couples therapist and consultant in Horsens. In Horsens Sundhedshus I have also been working closely with several General Practitioners performing therapy with their clients on their behalf. Besides, I have worked with job counseling, and I have several years of experience leading self-help groups.

I have a four-year degree in psychotherapy from Akademiet for Psykoterapi and a supplementary degree in Imago Relations Therapy from Institut for Imagoterapi. Besides, I have completed advanced training in Emotionally Focused Therapy at the Danish branch of International Center for Excellence in Emotionally Focused therapy. I have also participated in courses and seminars in Cognitive therapy, Loss and grief, Somatic experiencing (trauma healing) and coaching. Finally, I hold a masters degree in international business and languages, Cand.Negot., from University of Odense.

I have several years of experience as an HR manager and consultant in large, international companies. My primary responsibilities were recruitment, management counseling and coaching. I still do HR work on a consultancy basis and I take part in work as a board member in companies and organizations.

I have worked and studied in the USA and in France and I speak both English and French
fluently. I therefore offer therapy in both languages.

I am married and have two daughters (born 2002 and 2005). I am born in 1970.

I receive ongoing supervision by experienced psychotherapists and psychologists in order to ensure you a highly professional and ethical level of therapy. I am a member of the Danish Association for Psychotherapy, Imago Relationship International, and the Danish as well as the International Center for Excellence in Emotionally Focused Therapy. I participate in network and supervision groups with psychotherapists and psychologists and I work under full professional confidentiality.
